And finally... I'm done with the NEW SET of prayer cards!  They are meant to help you pray more specifically for your children.  There are 26 different verses and cards - based around the entire alphabet.

The entire package will be for sale on Sunday.  The wall art will come in two sizes (8x10 and 5x7).  You will receive both with your purchase.  These make great borders in a homeschool room.  Or attach them to some string to make an educational (yet whimsical) banner!  They also make great scripture memory cards as the verses were chosen specifically as ones I want my children to memorize as they grow.  Verse that will help them be successful and look more like Jesus.

Then, you will also receive 26 prayer point cards.  These cards are meant for you - to help you pray more specifically for your children.  The cards coordinate with the wall art.

Focus on one letter per week to coordinate the education with the spiritual.  For only $10 for the entire set - it's practically a steal.

Now, you can't buy these downloads until Sunday - Mother's Day.  BUT, you CAN get one sent to you FREE.  Here's how:
  • Head over to the Facebook page and share the preview image of the Prayer Cards with your friends.
  • If you can get 10 friends to head to the BLB Facebook page and tag your name saying you sent them, then I'll send you the entire download set FREE!
Good luck!

Pregnancy Prayer Card Gift Idea

This month, I decided to put up a Better Life Bag button on Ashley's blog, Under the Sycamore.  Her blog captivates me every time I visit and after a few years of reading every day, I decided to take the plunge and advertise on her site.  Why not advertise on the sites that I love, right?

As a thank you, I wanted to send her my Pregnancy Prayer Cards.  She is in the process of adopting from China, and while her baby already has all her parts formed, I thought these might help to pass the waiting and focus her prayers.

I bundled them up with a paper doily folded over the pack and some red twine wrapped horizontally and vertically to keep the cards nice and tight in the mail.

Then, I tied a simple To/From tag on for an added touch.  Really simple.

Pregnancy Prayer Cards can be ordered here for those interested.

42 weeks of pregnancy prayers - now available!

I've worked long and hard on these.  And even had some of YOU help me edit them.  And finally, they are done!  The 42 Weeks of Pregnancy Prayers are up for sale here.

I hope that many of you will take advantage of the incredible gift these could be for you, your baby, or your pregnant friends and family.  Don't wait until the baby shower to give it to them - they will miss too many weeks of prayer.  Print them off as soon as you find out their little bundle of joy is coming.  What a precious gift.

This pack does cost a tiny penny.  And I thought seriously about whether or not to charge for them.  The prayers for your husband pack will always be free since I used someone else's prayer guide to create those.  But these pregnancy prayers came from the heart of me as a momma.

And even though they cost about $.26/card, it's literally the gift that can be given over and over.  Purchase the prayer pack once and print out as many copies as you want - whenever you want!  {You will be able to download the cards to your computer within 24 hours of purchase}

All I ask is that you do not forward the download links or prayer cards in ANY digital format (they cannot be shared through email).  The only proper (and legal) way to gift these cards is in print form.  And it's so easy to print!  Just take them to a Kodak picture maker and print them off as if they were regular photographs!  Display them in a photo book, wrap them up with ribbon, make a homemade flip book - the creative options are endless!

Here is one of my favorite pages from Week 25:

Every other card alternates between the pronouns "he" and "she".

I absolutely LOVE the concept of these.  Almost enough to get pregnant again - just to be able to pray through them as baby #3 develops.  ... ok, maybe not!  I'll just have some fun gifting them for awhile!

Read some reviews, more details, and get yours here.  Thank you for supporting Better Life.

And yes, proceeds from these cards also benefit low income entrepreneurs in developing countries... just like every Better Life Bag.

new days of prayer cards are coming!

So many of you expressed how much you enjoyed the 31 Days of Prayer for Your Husband that I've decided to spend some time working on another set!

42 Weeks of Pregnancy Prayers

The basic concept revolves around praying for the different parts of the baby that are developing each week.  For example, the week the heart starts to beat, we pray that our little one's heart will come to know and love Jesus above all else.  And the week the tongue starts to develop?  We are praying for pure speech and encouraging words to flow through it as our baby grows up into an adult.  One to two Bible verses accompany each prayer topic.

As you can see, these prayers go way beyond "I'm praying for a healthy baby."  They lead you in praying for the spiritual life your child.

Here is a small sampling of what you can expect design-wise.

Images are cropped on purpose - full version will be included in download files.

Just like the husband prayer cards, these can be printed at your local CVS or Walgreens just like they were photographs of your family.  You can then either slip them into a photo album or make the homemade photo flip book I posted awhile back.

I plan on creating lots more of these prayer cards because the response was so overwhelming for the first set.  I enjoy making these and especially enjoy spurring you on in prayer.  Hey, I can use some accountability and "fun" for my prayer life, too!

If you want to sign up for the newsletter that will announce when new prayer card themes are available for purchase and download, please sign up here.  I promise not to clog up your email (that's what Facebook is for), but I will send out a quick update about each new set of prayer cards as they become available.

Be looking for these new prayer cards by the middle of October!  I'm in the final editing phase.
