Mommy Monday #1 - Watch Jonah Grow!

A few months before Little Bug was born, a friend of mine had her baby.  Each week she sat her little girl by the same stuffed animal and posted them on Facebook.  Her album was called, "Watch Maddie Grow".  I was determined to do the same with Little Bug when he got here.   He was born on a Tuesday, so every Tuesday since then, he has gotten his picture taken with the same stuffed animal... the lamb.

It's been so fun to see the lamb shrink as Little Bug gets bigger!

All you need is a stuffed animal.  I chose a blanket so that I would have the same background in all my photos... definitely not necessary.

I think it's a great idea for the first year.  If anyone is about to have a baby, I suggest looking for the right stuffed animal now!  I wish that I had found a stuffed whale to photograph Little Bug by.  Anyway, I don't plan on continuing this past the first year.  I think it would start to become a fight when I'm making my 16 year take a picture with his lamb.  But... I wouldn't put it past me!

  1. He's so cute, Becky! I love watching him grow...what a cool way for your family and friends to watch from far away! Thanks for sharing. By the way, I don't know if I told when you were here at Christmas, but I'm building a log home this year. I started to blog about the process and wanted to share it with you.... www.dawnsdreamcabin.blogspot.com

It's good to connect! Have a great week!

  2. Your baby boy is so cute! I love that sheep too, I have been on the lookout for a new lovie for my little boy on the way (I already have a 2-year old son who has a froggy he ADORES.)

So this is totally funny but I just visited your etsy shop and noticed that we both opened our shops super close together (last august) and both have had 13 sales. Ha! Weird. Now if only we could both boost the Sales number, right?

I am thinking of doing a blog post that would be really helpful to me and other budding craft sellers, which would just talk about ways to help your business grow. The only problem is that I don't particularly know that much about that yet! So watch my blog and I will post something where you can leave tips or whatever, because I think it would be great to help each other out.
